30 Years of Excellence
Since 1997, NEMS Lacrosse has been building competitive athletes, confident leaders, and lasting success. With 10 teams organized by graduation year and opportunities starting as early as third grade, NEMS continues to grow while staying true to its Girls First foundation. As a not-for-profit organization, our mission is simple: develop players, support families, and help every athlete reach her next level.
Tournaments & Competition
NEMS competes on the biggest stages in girls lacrosse, playing in elite, invite-only tournaments during both the fall and summer seasons. These events feature the top clubs in the country, giving our players the chance to test their skills against the best.
Consistent, high-level competition fuels player development and is especially important during the recruiting years. Our athletes gain the visibility and experience that open doors to the next level.
Year-Round Development
NEMS provides practices, tournaments, leagues, skills training, and position-specific instruction throughout all four seasons. Our athletes train and compete year-round on premier outdoor and indoor facilities. These venues provide consistent practice space and ideal conditions for skill development.
- Rutledge Fields in Jarrettsville, MD: Expansive all-grass fields
- The John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD: Premier turf fields
- DUBS Sports in Dublin, MD: Lacrosse-specific turf indoor space
- The Soccer Factory in Forest Hill, MD: Large indoor turf space
Complete Player Development
At NEMS Lacrosse, growth is intentional. Our Club Director works directly with coaching staff to design personalized development plans that build skills, confidence, and lacrosse IQ at every age level. This tailored approach ensures that every player, from rising talent to elite competitor, trains at the right pace, builds confidence, and reaches her full potential.
College Player Coaching Program
Each summer, NEMS hires current college lacrosse players, many of whom are NEMS alumnae, to work alongside our coaching staff at practices and tournaments. This is not occasional guest coaching. These college athletes become paid members of the NEMS summer coaching staff and, whenever possible, return to the same teams year after year.
That continuity allows our college coaches to build meaningful relationships with players, understand their development, and grow alongside the team. They bring current college-level training, expectations, and firsthand experience while serving as relatable mentors for younger athletes.
The program also gives college players meaningful summer employment, leadership experience, and an opportunity to explore coaching. For NEMS families, it provides another consistent layer of instruction, mentorship, and perspective that few club programs offer.

Experienced Coaching Staff
Under the leadership of Club Director Faye Brust, our coaches bring passion, high standards, and deep lacrosse knowledge to every practice and game. Each team is led by experienced, knowledgeable adult coaches, supported by former collegiate and current college players who bring firsthand insight, perspective, and energy to the game.
Coach Faye currently serves as the Girls Lacrosse Head Coach at C. Milton Wright High School. She was an All-American and Tewaaraton Award nominee at the University of Louisville and is also a proud NEMS ’11 alumna. Her leadership, energy, and commitment to a Girls First approach set the standard for the entire NEMS program.
College Recruiting Guidance
NEMS supports families through the college recruiting process with structured guidance and access to national recruiting platforms. Our Director of Recruiting, Coach Haley Ford, works closely with our coaching staff to guide each player through the college recruiting journey. She helps players understand the process, make informed decisions, and find the right fit, both athletically and academically.
Coach Haley is the Girls Lacrosse Head Coach at North Harford High School and a proud Penn State and NEMS ’11 alumna.
Performance & Specialized Training
To support development across all seasons, we partner with top sports performance trainers across Harford County to give our athletes a competitive edge. These experienced professionals focus on building strength, speed, agility, and endurance. Throughout both winter and summer, trainers work directly with teams to deliver targeted, sport-specific conditioning that elevates performance and minimizes injury risk.
Additional training opportunities include dedicated goalie sessions designed to strengthen fundamentals, boost confidence, and improve game readiness. NEMS also offers position-specific clinics that focus on skill development in areas like draws, defensive footwork, and offensive decision-making, all led by professionals who specialize in each role.
